Papenburg was nice but we felt one day was enough.
Papenburg was nice but we felt one day was enough. There is a nice pedestrianised area along a canal with shops, bars and restaurants. There is a park and also a large lake close by. We felt that if you are looking for a quiet couple of days away it would be ok. We had a fantastic dinner in the pedestrianised area at Restaurant MediTerra, and had fish of the day, whole grilled seabass, it was reasonably priced and the staff were lovely.

Our room had a great view of the Rathaus and the centre was just a minute walk away. Very spacious restaurant and good decor. The rooms had a theme going which was very nice. We were in Mexico. The room in general was fine and equipped with all we needed and very spacious. Breakfast and dinner was good but nothing special. Besides the cleaners everyone was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were so nice and welcoming esp the guy who checked us in. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of everything. There was plenty of parking. As we were travelling by motorbike we were allowed to park in the garage. I would highly recommend this hotel and would def stay here again.

There's a large (for an old city) parking space for customers. I had a quiet room overlooking the garden. Everything was fine and clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good with a good amount of choice. All in all, a good stay.
