Gemütliches familiengeführtes Hotel. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Große und sehr saubere Zimmer, zweckmäßig rustikal eingerichtet. Frühstück (der Zahl der Gäste angepasst) vollkommen ausreichend. Zusatzwünsche wurden gern erfüllt, Eierspeisen auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Vielleicht wäre etwas mehr Frischobst möglich gewesen. Abendessen im Restaurant ist eigentlich ein "Muss" - alles selbst zubereitet - frisch und außergewöhnlich schmackhaft. Kegelbahn ist topp - Wellnesseinrichtungen haben wir aus Zeitgründen leider nicht genutzt. Ausreichend private Parkplätze vorhanden. Lage des Hotels für Wanderungen und Unternehmungen ideal.

This family-run hotel is set in the village of Brotterode, surrounded by scenic Thuringian countryside. Zur guten Quelle offers a skittles alley and a spa with hot tub, fitness room and massages. The classic-style rooms at Hotel Zur Guten Quelle feature cable TV and a private bathroom. Breakfast and a selection of Thuringian and international dishes are served in the homelike restaurant. Located close to the Großer Inselberg mountain and the Trusetal Waterfalls, the hotel is an ideal base for hiking, cycling and water sports.
