The interior design blended seamlessly with the harsh skyline of jagged mountains outside. The hotel location was quiet and the breakfast was superb. I had messed up the reservation when it came to kid count and the staff was very gracious about changing rooms. Speaking of which, the family room was spacious and the "kid" bedroom made toddler bedtime easy for all parties. I arrived at the hotel via the 540 bus out of Innsbruck. The hotel sits right next to the inconspicuous bus stop. It was perfectly planned.

You can also start mountain hikes from the hotel. Ferienhotel Geisler is a perfect base for all kinds of winter sports. The free ski bus stops right in front of the hotel. Activities such as guided snowshoe hikes, winter hiking, horse-drawn sleigh rides and sledding (illuminated sled run to the Rinner Alm, shuttle service available) are also offered. Guided hikes for hotel guests are organized every week. You will also receive reduced tickets for guided city tours, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds and much more.
