This was my first time visiting Istanbul, and luckily I booked in Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus. Although it was opened in 1992, I found it very elegant and luxurious. The location is the best. It is close and accessible to everything. At the same time, it is in a very relaxing area. The food was all I needed. The staff were very friendly, polite, supportive, and helpful all the time from the first minute I entered the hotel until the last minute when they said goodbye. I believe this will be my spot when I visit Istanbul, and definitely I recommend this hotel to others.

Enjoyed the furry ride, walking around in the city, visiting the historical buildings, communicating with friendly locals.
It was hard to find good restaurants with proper prices. They usually said they didn't have the less expensive options on the menu.

The Hagia Sophia museum was a good place to go to get to know some of the history of the area. The experience was different from what I had expected, with us having to move through in a group of 13 people, and with key video and sound effects.
The Grand Bazaar was well worth a visit, and I ended up making some purchases that I had not expected. One could bargain - one had to bargain - but you are never sure if you get a good price. Also we noticed that having made one purchase, we were strongly encouraged to go to other vendors - brothers, cousins - especially carpet shops!
The hop-on hop-off bus tour was also good; we did not hop-off but stayed on for the whole trip which took about 3 hrs. But beware - a lot of that time was spent in moving slowly through the old town!

This is one of the great citiies of the world and one of the great experiences of a lifetime. Asia meets Europe, vibrant and exotic. Wonderful bazaars and markets, astounding mosques and historic sights, delicious and varied foods at normally very affordable prices. Istanbul is a great destination - worth several. If you haven't been there before, give yourself at least three or four full days, otherwise you will regret having given yourself not enough time to explore this fascinating place.

There’s something for everyone!
There’s something for everyone! Steeped in history, from Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern to the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia, to the various museums. The Grand Bazaar and Spice Market are for those who love to shop and haggle.
There is plenty of walking around the city - you can walk to see the Galata Bridge and Tower, walk through green parks such as Gulhane Park etc.
And for those who enjoy experiences, there are Bosphorus boat trips to the Asian side, the hammams and not to mention the incredible food.

Istanbul is great if visiting for the first time.
Istanbul is great if visiting for the first time. It is a must see. There are too many scams going on, which is a shame. We got scammed twice trying to top up our Istanbul transport card. Scammers willingly helped us off 18 Euro twice. The ticket machines are hard to use and the display in English usually doesn't work in them. For that reason there are too many confused tourists ready to be scammed. It is shambolic. You must come though, if you haven't been. On your second visit though, you have yourself to blame for getting robbed.

From charming architecture to breathtaking views of the Bosphorus, to delicious local foods/ turkish delights and vibrant nightlife scenes, there's reason why Napoléon said : “If the world was only one country, Istanbul would be its capital.”
Locals are so much fun, so friendly and helpful.
One (healthy :) ) difficulty was hanging streets and lot of walking, but that's also city's peculiar charm.
Street food is on point, especially fish sandwich and doner.
We went as a guest and returned as a family. The staff at Westist are excellent. From the reception to housekeeping and the restaurant; everyone had a charming attitude towards guests. We stayed for 8 nights and we were taken care of amazingly.
To take a few names;

The hotel is located in the most accessible place which takes you to Taksim Square and anywhere around Istanbul.
Great hotel, located within 10seconds walk of Taksim square and Istiklal street, where you will find all the cafes, restaurants, shops etc.The hotel is nicely furnished and the staff are amazing.Very good breakfast on rooftop restaurant. Although all the main sites are not close they are easily within walking distance . we never used a bus or tram or taxi to get around. Best to stay in this area and visit Sultanahmet( the historical area) during the day. Will definitely stay here again when in Istanbul again
I liked the fact that this hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul and the prices are pretty decent given the location. The hotel’s proximity to landmarks such as Galata Tower and Taksim square really make it stand out.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and even though I only booked the hotel for 4 nights they were able to provide me with accommodation for 2 additional nights.
Overall, highly recommended! 🤩
All the best,
Georgi (Bulgaria) and Semra (Turkey)
This property has almost everything one wants during travel. I stayed with my family for 04 nights. we were warmly welcomed and offered best hospitality possible. location is great. Just 02 minutes walk to Taksim Square. everything is nearby for daily life.
Hotel manager, Mehmet, is such a nice guy. He arranged a bosphorus cruise dinner trip and airport transfer at very good rate. He offered all kind of assistance wherever required. Highly recommend for stay.
I have been several times to Istanbul and this is the best so far. First location easy to find, 5 mins walk to Taksim Square, food, supermarket everthing just next to the hotel.
Staff are super Kamran is very helpful. Making me tea, take my luggage to my room and find me cheap taxi. Wish all hotel in Istanbul give service like him. Seyyaf is also nice helping me. I will comeback next time visiting again with this price
Very polite staff and very helpful starting from front desk to housekeeping. Ahmed, Anwar and Sanaa very friendly staff. Very tiny room but clean. If you wanna sleep in Istanbul then do reserve this hotel. You find any area quieter than this. Loved the hotel and staff. Near taksim square. Everything are nearby you don't need to worry about anything. Definitely I suggest the hotel and 100% comeback to it.
I was a solo traveller, first time in Istanbul. And the staff made all the difference in my trip.
They played a key role in making my journey amazing, Salar helped me make plans to explore the city and he was super helpful.
The hotel was really comfortable, a great view with clean & warm room, The location is perfect too 5mins walk from Taksim square where you can travel to any part of the city.
The location is amazing, just near Taksim Square but far enough from the main traffic. The hotel is new, rooms are super clean, staff is beyond polite and helpful (special thanks to Manager Mr.Dogan), breakfast is nice, in front of the hotel you have a cafe, prices are really good for Istanbul which is getting more and more expensive so my overall impression is great and I can't wait to come back :)
The hotel is located nearby Taksim square, a nice start to explore Istanbul. The staff is really friendly and helpfull A++
From Istanbul airport you could take a taxi to the hotel for around 700-800 Lira. They don`t offer breakfast but have coffee, coockies, water and some fruits available in the lobby. Around the hotel are plenty of restaurants where you can have your breakfast.
Ahmed, worker in this hotel is the best guy I have met in Istanbul. If you need tickets or any favour, Ahmed is capable to do it for you all in one place. Highly satisfied with stay at this Hotel. I consider this as 5 star hotel instead of 3 star. Cleanliness outstanding, tasty breakfast, polite and helpful behavior of hotel staff. 10 stars out of 10.
I definitely recommend this hotel. It is very well positioned, about 5 minutes walk from Taksim square. The rooms are large, cleaning is done every day. The breakfast was very good. The gentlemen at the reception are extremely kind and help you with anything you need. Of all the hotels I stayed at in Istanbul, this is by far the best.
Best hotel ever in Istanbul. Perfect location which near to Taksim Square, eateries, and public transport. Easy to go anywhere. Not hard to find the hotel. Clean hotel, good breakfast, spacious room and very comfortable. Nice and helpful staffs. Sure will stay here again if I come to Istanbul again. Totally satisfied 👍👍👍👍👍
It is good only for a very short stay and the location is in the downtown and very close and walkable to Taksim square and Istiklal street but just keep in mind that the streets leading to the hotel are steep and downhill. If you like Istanbul's old city area and old Turkish architecture, you will like the surroundings here.
Location is fantastic, walking distance to Taksim square, and walking distance to Nishantashi. Metro station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Room is specious and bath shower is fabulous. Beds not very comfortable but is ok.
Breakfast is outstanding, it is the best breakfast i ever had in Istanbul 5 star Hotels.
Location is great. It's easy to get there by bus or Metro from New airport and from SAW airport as well. Taksim square is in 2 minutes from Hotel.
Istiklal street is nearby.
Staff is friendly.
Good hotel to stay 1-2 days there, espacialy during transit in Istanbul.
I am very glad that I chose Cezayir Rooms for my first visit to Istanbul. Excellent hotel at the best location. Near to Istiklal, Galata Port, Galata Tower, Taksim Square. Near to the trams going to Sultan Ahmet. Near to Karakoy Ferry Station.
Great ! Hotel is near Taksim square, comfortable to transport to airport and all where in Istanbul👍 . All of staff are very friendly . Hotel is quite and clean . Thanks for my nice holidays 😍😍
I only like the location which is main tourist attractions in Istanbul, which is Taksim square, nothing more expect from this hotel whole stay in this hotel.
