Exactly what we wanted from a one-night stay. Pool a big bonus after a day in the car. Owner super friendly and the 5-10 minute walk over fields to the very attractive centre of Castellina was a delight. Bring a torch if you will be coming back after sundown. Siena a short drive away and san Gimignano also only ca. 30km. Bang in the heart of the Chianti area.
