The location was less than 400 meters to the bus station, which was the main reason we chose it. The room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was plentiful and good and the beds, sheets and blankets seemed new and were very comfortable.

Lovely city. Spent 3 days but 2 would have been plenty however we needed to stop moving for a few days after travelling for 3 weeks.
Lots to see and walk to.
Great bars and restaurants and if you like blood pudding sausage then it’s everywhere. I just had to escape it.
Must bars charge a couple of euros for a glass of wine plus you receive a tapa. Mostly it’s cured meats and bread. Sometimes it’s the morcilla or if you’re lucky, another taps could be hard cheese with bread or potato wedges.

It was only a short visit arriving late afternoon and leaving just after 10am the next day. However we enjoyed our evening walk.
We stayed in the same hotel in 2022 and had more time to look around.
- The Catedral de León is a must visit
- The Museo Casa Botines Gaudí has a beautiful facade but we didn't have the opportunity to visit the museum
We also enjoyed having a coffee and croissant breakfast at the Café Bar La Dama next door to the FC Infantas de León we were staying in.

First time in León and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Drinks and tapas, shopping, exploring ancient Churches and other sites, processions of Semana Santa. Lots of choices of what you may want to do. Definitely want to explore some more, so will make a return trip at some point.

Beautiful city full of history and good eating places. Specialty of the region was roast suckling pig and lamb. It has an outstanding cathedral, larger than I expected and most beautiful.
The apartment was ample and comfortable, even though it had no air conditioning. It wasn't needed for this time of the year.

León is a great city to visit, with lots of history, numerous tourist attractions and wonderful museums. It's easy to walk around, clean and neat. The Cathedral, Museo / Basilica de San Isidoro (where the Holy Grail is located), Convento de San Marco and Museo de Castille Y León (free admission) are not to be missed. I found the food relatively cheap compared to other cities. Lunch at Ezequiel was a great experience, though it may be a little difficult to get a table at peak hours. Enjoy!
The staff were really friendly and spoke English. The hotel is great value for money and situated in a quiet part of the old town. It has a great quality of finish to the rooms. The only problem we had was a basin in the bathroom which leaked. It wasn’t fixed during our stay (2 nights), but the receptionist was able to stop the water from being hazardous on the tiles. She put a bucket and towels underneath the leak. It worked. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and would certainly return. León is a wonderful city.
Sergio was fantastic he is a great asset to your business. very professional, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I had an excellent view of the Semana Santa processions from my room. I would highly recommend this hotel. it is very central a short walk to the cathedral. lots of restaurants and bars to get excellent pinchos. overall a great place to stay in Leon.
The location of the hotel was excellent and the price paid represented very good value for money for the standard of hotel and quality of accommodation provided. Everything was spotless. The room and bathroom were well appointed and we wouldn’t hesitate to choose the hotel again for a visit to Leon.
Very close to the center of Leon and the cathedral. Balcony for everyone to share as pictured on the top floor overlooking the street. Loved having a salad from the market watching people stroll by below. It was quiet in our room. Plenty of showers and a washer and dryer.
We w ere two cyclists needing well-priced overnight accom in Leon. This hotel was excellently centrally located . Very helpful staff. Large Room with good facilities and 'Romanesque' touches. Very comfy beds and quiet location close to many restaurants.
Juan is truly the King of Leon. The location is great. ONLY negative is not Juans fault. The hostal is located in the middle of everything, so everything is going on and it can get a bit noisy late into the night. But that's Spain, embrace and enjoy!!
Hotel located next to the Cathedral of Leon, close to all tourist attractions.
Excellent infrastructure and the staff were very attentive. Excellent hotel services. I recommend this hotel to all travelers staying in Leon.
Booked this coming thru León on the Camino. Perfect location ! Right near the Cathedral and plaza mayor. Super cute - clean - beds comfortable. Washing machine . Lovely little baked goods in the morning . Perfect stay.
Hotel Occidental Leon Alfonso V is in a good location near to the Historic District and the Catedral . The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have laundry service and they deliver our clothes to the room.
We stayed at this hotel for one night on a road trip through Spain. Room 809 was excellent.
Awesome in every aspect I can talk about. Front desk staff members were super friendly and helpful, especially Pedro.
It is a cozy small hotel, within walking distance to most of the main attractions and historical sites in Leon. Price, with breakfast included was very reasonable. Breakfast is good, not just some little bit.
Great quiet hotel next to Leon's hospital. Easy to get any point in Leon from the hotel. My only gripe is that it was too hot in the room, but that was easily circumvented by opening the window.
Amazing location in center of Leon, walk to everything. For the price, I could not have imagined a better stay. Great light in private room! Secure keyed bike storage as well.
excellent location over looking plaza.de mayor and NH Collection hotels never disappoint. we spent a rest day here which gave us sone time to tour Leon during our Camino.
Location is terrific! And the hotel is charming with the beautiful brickwork and French doors to the street. The rooms were furnished simply - which was perfect.
Beautiful place, best location in the whole of León with amazing views, great host Juan, clean and comfortable. it's more of a 5-star hotel than a hostel:)
