Moments from the beach, the view is stunning. Quiet surroundings and very nice people and communication between hosts was excellent. Good size place for single traveller and quick wifi.
Built among lush greenery in Kanoni Peninsula and just 1.9 mi from the center of Corfu Town, the 4-star Divani Corfu Palace features a swimming pool with hot tub.

Some hotels are a place to sleep and nothing more. And that's ok! But Divani Corfu Palace is a home away from home. It's beyond lovely. The staff is full-on professionals, which is a rarity these days. The hotel has a beautiful view on one side and lush nature on the other. I can't decide which is better. I wish I stayed longer.
Some reviews mentioned that the common areas of the hotel were new, but that the rooms felt dated. I'm not sure I agree, the rooms are fresh too. The hotel was renovated 100%, but it certainly didn't lose its charm.

We decided to base ourselves in Pelekas because of its vicinity both to Corfu town and to the beaches. However, the way back from the beach to the village is very steep and not convenient for children and older people. The beautiful village could be a lot nicer if traffic would be banned, since the streets are very narrow.

Our room had clearly not been renovated for the past 30+years, with broken tiles everywhere badly patched with glue/silicon (arguably a health and safety hazard), a bed with more broken springs than those still working (we slept only a few hours, if any), a shower that at peak usage time would get lukewarm at best (we called reception and they sent through a handy man at around 7pm who said it is usual for them to run out of hot water when everyone at the hotel is having showers, but it would usually come back in the next 2/3 hours). Also, our room was next to the large outdoor aircon units which were incredibly loud and they were blowing air upwards/towards our balcony (major covid risk), hence why we couldn't even make use of the one positive aspect of the hotel.
Also, there was a general smell of sewage throughout the facility, including our bathroom, which became unbearable at "peak shower times".
The all-inclusive package (there was no à la carte restaurant, shut due to Covid, even though the description on Booking is clearly talking of a second à la carte restaurant) was absolutely below expectations. We stayed at other 5-star hotels in Corfu a couple of nights before and after (we only experienced one dinner and one breakfast as we ran away ASAP) and the food at both was just miles ahead. To provide one simple example, the cut-up fruit provided was all canned (in syrup) fruit, as opposed to freshly cut fruit (provided at both other 5-star hotels). Also, for drinks there was only water, fizzy drinks, house wine and house beer all from a self-service tap - for anything else from a menu, you would need to prepay the tab on your room, which could only be done at reception (which is something I had never heard of/experienced before for anything above 3-stars!), which was a 10 min walk up from the restaurant.

Pelekas is not, as such, the target of a trip but if you like family beach it is totally suitable for you ; if you like family naturism the beaches are very nice at Mirtitiossa (15 mn) or Issos (40 mn) ; if you like geographic tourism Pelekas is central !

If you go to Pelekas I really recommend to rent a boat on Ermones beach, you will have an unforgettable experience, People are warm and friendly. Go to Aqualand, a great water park but make sure to go there for a whole day. 3 hours will not be enough! Go spend some cool time at Villa Myrto!
If you come to this area without a car, you will be sorry. A car is a MUST have!!

Beautiful village.
Beautiful village. We prefer somewhere less touristy and Pelekas was perfect. I am sure corona virus may have effected how busy the village was but I don’t think the charm would be lost if it was busier. Lovely selection of tavernas to enjoy dinner and we enjoyed some beautiful Greek wine and cocktails at the small little bar next to the church in the centre. Great rooftop terrace not to be missed. I would recommend a car to reach the beaches. We walked back from the beach one day and once was enough in the heat! Top top, get your sun loungers at Spyros on the beach at Pelekas/Kontogialos beach and don’t miss the calamari Or grilled octopus on the menu for lunch!! Glyfada beach wasn’t a patch on Pelekas, give it a miss. Not to be missed is watching the sunset from Kaisers Throne!! Worth the walk up the hill, grab a beer on the way!!

It's good location as base for trip around Corfu island (not the north part of island, but i think that the central and south part of island is prettier), only 20 minutes by car to the Kerkyra, a lot of beaches on west coast.
We visited a lot of tavernas - for examples Staurodromi - very good meal, very kind staff.
Our stay at Eleni’s apartment was AMAZING! The apartment is so beautiful (the pictures don’t do it justice). It has everything you need and Eleni is the most attentive, lovely, personable host, she helped us with every request. The location is fantastic, the village is literally on your doorstep. The view is INCREDIBLE! If you’re coming to Corfu - this is where you need to stay. We will 100% be back, the beautiful fresh fruit and almonds were also highlights! Thank you so much Eleni ❤️ we loved our stay so much!!
The apartment was spacious and had a large loggia with fantastic sea view. The bathroom was nice, recently renovated, with good lightning. The apartment building was surrounded by grapes. The hosts also have a restaurant and I recommend Corfu specialties and fresh Greek salad. The way to the beach takes like 10 min. The beach was really fantastic, nice sand, very shallow entrance to the sea, clear waters and very small waves on one side of the bay and normal waves on the other side of the bay.
The host and his family are excellent, since it’s a bit tricky to go to their place by public tranportation. Stephan sent his mom to pick us up at bus station. Then we arrived at this amazing house, with amazing pool ( amazing temperature control), and Stephan has this beach club that offers best food ever and amazing sandy beach. ( also they have the best Wifi) Highly recommend anyone who wants a chill and fun time in corfu!
Akis Apartments was perfect for a relaxing holiday. The beach is moments away and George was so kind, he gave us fresh home grown tomatoes, Greek wine and bread. It is a little difficult to travel round Corfu without a car (the nearest bus is a 30 minute uphill walk away, difficult in the heat!) but the location itself is beautiful. The photos do not do the view from the apartment justice. Very good value.
An exceptional family apartment that makes you feel like home! Maria, the host and her family are amazing people, very welcoming and helpful during the stay. I can't imagine anything missing from this apartment in terms of equipment or materials. Pelekas is a very picturesque village near Corfu Town and Glyfada beach. Would come back in the future. Highly recommended!
What a magnificent setting with superb views of both coasts of Corfu. The hotel shows signs of age but still retains its elegance.
Breakfast was included and of very good quality and plenty of choice. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The view of the sunset was spectacular, we understand that the sunrise is too but 6.30 was too early for us!
The location above Pelekas provided panoramic views to east and west coasts. The pool was quite nice as well as the breakfast buffet. Breakfast staff was sweet and helpful although very busy. Bones of building wonderful with great potential for an investor. Guests would be happy to pay more to stay at such a location.
Great location, a path leads you down to a great beach . Not more than 300 ft, restaurants on the beach and warm clear water. This property has a huge deck that overlooks the beach. I had dinner and breakfast at the property. Both were great.
Great location in Pelekas , close to the village's restaurants and bars. 2nd floor room has a view of the sea from the balcony. Restaurant food is good! I would return to that hotel if I come back to visit Pelekas.
Beautiful villa with amazing views. Centrally located to visit all of Corfu. Zoi and her father were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you we have fallen in love with Corfu 🥰
The beach is amazing!!! more beautiful than any picture. The food was very nice and there’s a veritably. if your looking for calming vacation, then this is a hotel you don’t need to leave.
Moments from the beach, the view is stunning. Quiet surroundings and very nice people and communication between hosts was excellent. Good size place for single traveller and quick wifi.
great place to stay for 1 night on the road in Corfu. Clean. Tidy. Easy to check in.Room no2. Lovely view and veranda. supermarket next door and great bar 50 meters away.
Amazing view, good location with nice sand beach in walking distance, great food in the restaurant, very friendly hosts, basic but efficient room and mini kitchen.
Great accomodation, with a well equipped kitchen, fantastic view all over a very nice beach - Pelekas/Kontagialos beach, quiet and relaxing surroundings.
This is a really nice property, nested in a lovely village at an easy reach of many lovely beaches and the Old Town. The staff is absolutely wonderful.
