I had low expectations of the city.

I had low expectations of the city. In fact it was relatively welcoming and fun. It appears quite lively. English spoken widely. I did not experience negative attitudes. Food was a bonus, good quality and value. I doubt vegetarians are well catered for.

Belgrade is modern. It is a big city.

Belgrade is modern. It is a big city. Not reallybthat much history to show as other cities in the Balkans. You take a 2 and half hours walk-in tour and you saw enough. It is a vibrant city. Party city. Full of clubs and parties all over. Good for those searching for party and fun. For tourists searching for history and the former yoguslavia heritage, 2 says is enough. There are many traditional food, like the balkans, but too much meat. Most of them heavy food. The local Serbian hambúrguer is too big and really not special or tasty Locals are not that much nice, but not rude. They have their special way. The sunset by the river or by the fortress is a must seen

Very strange place around the new train station.

Very strange place around the new train station. Earlier, the train station was located next to the bus station and it was convenient. For some reason, it was moved to a new place where there are no facilities, no shops, and you can only get there by car or bus and then a 7-minute walk, which definitely won't be something pleasant because you'll be walking with a suitcase, swallowing dust from the highway with a view of some unfinished buildings and concrete overpasses dilapidated and covered with graffiti. This last scene spoiled the whole impression of the city.

Belgrade - the last bastion of freedom, good times,...

Belgrade - the last bastion of freedom, good times, beautiful women, and safety. Belgrade is a beautiful, safe city rich in history, vibrant nightlife, beautiful women, excellent food, promenades, and friendly, sincere people. It’s essential to visit Belgrade between May and October, when the weather is nice, as everyone is out on the streets, and an evening walk through the city center is an experience rarely found elsewhere today. The city boasts many well-kept restaurants, cafes, and bars with plenty of people out and about. The pleasant atmosphere feels like you are in a summer seaside destination. People are well-dressed, polite, and friendly. Belgrade is a safe city where women in a city of 2 million people can walk from one end to the other at 3 a.m. without any danger, which has become rare in Europe today. Belgrade does not have oddly dressed people. Women are women, and men are men. Not like in recent years' Eurovision. This is a family-oriented city with traditional family values, where chivalry and gentlemanly behavior still exist.

Belgrade is my favourite travel location.

Belgrade is my favourite travel location. The city is living 24 hours. There is almost every kind of entertainment. It is an historical city with a beautiful old-town. Belgrade suffers from rush hour traffic like every big city does. So, although expensive, I recommend for a stay in the center. Or alternatively, I would recommend a stay in Zemun, and to take public transport for the city center.

The hotel is in an excellent location! Although it is right across the street from a busy square, the sound proofing in our room was very effective. Te room was comfortable and attractive. Everyone working at the reception desk was friendly and helpful—very patient in answering all our questions about using the bus system and getting a taxi in a pinch. We had a traditional dinner at a recommended Serbian restaurant and were not disappointed. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Belgrade

Hotel is on convinet location for city exploring and in quiet part of town. Staff was very kind. Room is spacious with high cealing so it was enough air in it without bad smells. Linen and towels was very clean and bed comfortably enough. Breakfast was excellent and if you like basic and tasty local food this is one of the best hotel breakfast that I had in Belgrade. Very important is that hotel had its own parking space which is very valuable in parking problematic main city of Serbia.

By far the best, cleanest and most memorable accommodation experience in Serbia. The hosts met us at the apartment, showed us the facilities and the map of Belgrad with some recommendations. They were incredibly nice and kind! Spoke English very well. Belgrade had power failires because of a storm during our stay and they did everything to keep us updated and even organised us some matches so we could light candles. Definately coming back if we are ever in Serbia.

The breakfast was excellent. For the four days we stayed at the hotel, we have no objections to breakfast: great selection, delicious and fresh food, very good and commendable. Room very clean, I loved the mirrors in the room and bathroom, they are all around so they give a visually bigger space. The staff were all soooo nice and professional. And finally, the location is great, everything is close, the city center and Belgrade Waterfront.

The restaurant/hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet street close to the international bus station, the market and the city center. You can virtually get everywhere in the city from there as there are several busses and trams of the public transport round the corner. The rooms are cosy and clean and the restaurant with its beautiful garden offers Serbian specialities. I think I finally found a place to stay in Belgrade in the future.

The best 4* hotel I've ever seen. It's old fashioned XIX century hotel with polite staff, carpeted floors, historical furniture in lobby, ample breakfast. The room was comfortable too, and my bathroom was like a second living room. The hotel is situated in 2 min from Knez Mihajlova street and the same 2 min from bus stop Brankov most (bus 72 to airport). The Belgrade bus station is 15 min by feet.

I stayed at the hotel for the second time, and this time due to its very close location to the stop of bus 72 connecting the airport and city center - it's only a 10 minute walk. This bus runs even at night, so it is very convenient for both late and early arrival/departure to Belgrade via the airport. In addition, all major sights of Belgrade are within walking distance.
