Beautiful scenic area. We had the upstairs corner room, with large windows and a fantastic view of the garden palms and mountains. Room was quiet, spacious, bright and clean. Bed was comfortable, linens very clean. Excellent breakfast-- best taken on the patio with morning bird song around . Staff were extremely kind and courteous, and went out of their way to help.

We only stayed for one night. We ordered dinner at their restaurant when we arrived, which was good and fast. We were given the corner room with balcony and incredible views of the canyon. The place was very clean, and the receptionist/server was very helpful and explained the hiking route to us. They also let us have breakfast early so we could leave for the hike early. WiFi and cell reception was surprisingly excellent.
The location is very good, about a 5 minute drive to the start of the hiking trail. Parking is available onsite.

It was very clean, breakfast was good and generous. Above all, special thanks to Mohammed who shared his culture (and his delicious harira) with me, and to Abdellatif for the very interesting discussions we had. Thank you so much ~

You really don't need to stop here and stay over... The todra gorge is beautiful to see, but you could drive up to it and out again.
I recommend stopping at Family el Mabrouk restaurant on your way into the gorge for a truly authentic experience. They are so full of energy. They'll dress you up in traditional wear and take photo's for you. They even took me with to the Souk in town. Highly recommend.

I went through the local market and the downtown area, it's nothing out of the ordinary, it's typical Moroccan, I like the crowd there, it's a commotion that moves and keeps the city alive during the day, but at night it's quiet, I didn't see much because I was welding a small part of the time. Good food .

Among the palm groves we visited during our two week road trip the one in Tinerhir was the greenest, with people working in the fields. What is also nice that the Gorges are close. However you should go for a 4h walk.

Tinerhir is very authentic, with beautiful landscapes of the kasbah and the palmeraie. Nice panorama's and the Todra gorge is closeby. We arrived by bus and had lunch at the mosque square. The lunch was also very good. The had dinner at the Guesthouse and it was our best, prepared and served with dedication.

To be clear, we stayed outside of Tinerhir closer to the gorge. But, the area has extraordinary beauty and it was well worth the long drive from Marrakesh. We were there for only 24 hours and could have stayed a couple of more days for hiking and just soaking in the landscape.
We loved our stay at Jamal's Hike and Chill hostel. The host himself is super nice, he made us the most wonderful breakfast.
This is the first time we have encountered European style hostel in Morocco and I must say it was fun meeting all the other tourists and people staying at this place.
Also I highly recommend everyone to visit Tinerhir and its nearby Todra Gorge. It is a beautiful town with very polite people. During our journey through the south of Morocco, this was the city where we felt most welcomed.
This Riad/hotel was a welcome oasis after a long drive. Beautifully decorated, with nice common areas, pool, bar, and terrace all looking out to a palm area. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room had a small balcony looking out to the pool, terraces and palms along with -nice decor, beautiful big bathroom, and comfy bed.
The pool was so refreshing and a great place to have a pre dinner drink. We had dinner which was ok (could have had more spices), on the terrace as the sun went down- nice setting.
I loved my stay here. It was a true bit of luxury in a beautiful setting. huge rooms, great shower and plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, terrace with amazing views, delicious dinner and breakfast. the staff and owner, Ali, could not do enough for us during our stay. We joined Ali on his daily walk through the gorge which was an incredible treat. this new hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk to the beginning of the gorge so it’s very conveniently located. i would highly recommend staying here!
The hotel location is very close to Todra Gorge - so if you are looking for a place to stay close by - it is a perfect choice.
Very kind and friendly personnel. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds.
We ate pleasant dinner and tasty breakfast. No problem with car parking.
There is a nice-looking hotel pool surrounded by palms - I guess must be truly relaxing in summer. However in November with cold mornings and evenings we did not feel like swimming.
We had a great stay in this Kasbah near the Toudra valley. The interiour of the room was quite basic but still very charming. The breakfast was also a Highlight with selfmade panecakes. We could start the hike trought the Toudra valley right next to the hotel. So we could start early in the morning! Our host Abdoul was very helpful with every question we had!
Thank you again Abdoul to make our stay so pleasant! We will come again!
I really don’t feel like I spent a week at a hotel, but instead with friends at their family home. 2 nights quickly became 8 as I relaxed into the mountain air and genuine hospitality. The gorge and surrounding area is stunning and captivating, but the care and friendliness of this lovely family is what makes it truly special. Food for the soul; I can’t wait to come back!
Kasbah Omari is a wonderful place to stay! The views are amazing, the WiFi was great for catching up with writing and blogging, and the host was incredible kind and generous. As a bonus, they had safe parking for our motorcycle in the courtyard. It’s easily one of our most favorite places we’ve stayed in Morocco so far.
This hotel is an oasis of cleanliness and calm in the midst of a rather grungy city at the southern edge of the Todhra gorge. Being built into an old castle gives the hotel a unique charm that can't be replicated in modern construction. Certainly the nicest hotel in town, although that's not saying much given the town.
The location was great, we had a wonderful view from our balcony. The staff were all lovely, Zaid, Aziz and Hayat and the food was good. Zaid also provided guiding services for a hike up the mountain opposite the hotel. Highly recommend this place for a stay in the Todra Gorge.
The host is super helpful and happy to talk about the area, Morocco, his story, or anything else you might want to know. It feels like a real guesthouse and not like a glorified hostel or something. Very comfortable and homey. The panorama is also gorgeous, obviously.
The people are amazing- so friendly and welcoming. They made a delicious dinner - best tajine I’ve had in Morocco so far. Zaki and his brother played music for us, and they gave us great recommendations. I will definitely stay here again, I love, love, loved it.
The kindness of the staff, always looking after their guests. We were able to have dinner at the hotel at a good price. Car can be parked at the entrance. It is a friendly and calm place which I cannot do more than recommend it.
We arrived at the hotel in the evening and it really had a very romantic atmosphere (however, with the white lights at night, the environment completely deteriorates and turns into a coffee shop)
Beautiful hotel, wifi worked perfectly, nice cold pool to cool off from the sun, large rooms with all the facilities you could need. Eat dinner at the restaurant, the food was delicious
the hotel was quiet huge for a small city. it contains all you need ( climatisations, nice view, pool, you can enjoy the river)
the staff are very friendly
